Sawmill Golf Club is a Semi-Private 18 holes golf course located in Saginaw, Michigan.
The course first opened for play in 1997. Sawmill was designed by John Sanford.
This course sits on rolling terrain, so expect some uneven lies. The fairways vary in width, with the front nine being open, while the back nine is more tree lined. Water hazards come into play on eight holes, and there are sand bunkers scattered throughout the design. The greens are fairly large, sloped and generally fast.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,757 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,140 yards. The longest hole on the course is #18 a par-5 that plays to 546 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 166 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 528 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 188 yard par-3.
